I love photos with the sun in it, best combined with a dramatic sky. This morning at Fanad Lighthouse in Donegal the conditions were just perfect. I waited more than an hour for this moment and then took many bracketed exposures at different f-stops to get a good sunstar and also to get the rest of the picture sharp and without flares.

Some heavy blending was needed in Photoshop to bring it all together, I recorded a little timelapse of the nearly one hour of exposure blending if you are interested -> [link]

Very informative video, but imho you've overdone the blending on the water (esp. where it reflects the sun), you took multiple sources that had different exposure times, resulting in different wave structure on the water surface.
